The short answer
At Scoops Up, weekly dog poop removal in San Diego costs $24.75 per visit for one dog, $27.25 for two, $29.75 for three, and $32.25 for four. Every-other-week service costs $34, $39, $44, or $49 per visit. One-time cleanups start at $60. Five or more dogs, twice-weekly visits, and HOA or commercial properties get a custom quote.
What that looks like per month
Most months have four or five service days, so weekly service for one dog works out to roughly $99 to $124 a month. Every-other-week service for one dog is usually two visits, or about $68 a month. Recurring service is billed upfront each month with a card on file, and there’s no long-term contract.
Why every-other-week costs more per visit
Two weeks of waste takes longer to find and remove than one week’s worth, so each every-other-week visit is priced higher. Over a month, though, it usually costs less than weekly service, which makes it a good fit for a single dog or a lighter-use yard.
What changes the price
Recurring prices are set by the number of dogs and how often we visit. One-time cleanups depend on yard size, layout, and how much waste has built up; a yard that hasn’t been cleaned in months takes much longer than one that was cleared last week. Yard deodorizing is an optional $10-per-visit add-on.
What’s included
Every visit includes picking up dog waste from the agreed yard areas, bagging it and placing it in your household trash can (double-bagged when needed), sanitizing our tools between properties, securing your gate, and sending a completion confirmation. If we miss a spot, we come back and make it right at no extra charge.
Is it worth it?
If you have more than one dog, a busy schedule, or a yard you want to actually enjoy, a regular cleanup is one of the cheapest ways to get your weekends back. Weekly service for one dog works out to roughly $3 to $4 a day. Get your exact price in 24 hours with a free quote.
